I'm 74 and I made chicken about 3 weeks ago for the first time, I mean deep fried chicken. It wasn't that great, but I like your video and how you do it. I'm going to take a shot at it. You actually dip it into the milk mix a second time and then back into the flour mix? Wish me luck, I'm going to do this tomorrow.

Powder ingredients are not authentic and there’s no way that’s tastes as good as making the sauce with the actual chiles which takes 5 min. But maybe that’s how her mom made them

I have made this casserole at least 3 times. My family and friends love it! I'm trying to cook more meals without meat and today I made the same recipe except I used homemade refried beans in place of the meat. It is so satisfying and we did not miss the meat at all! Thank you Rachel!
